Monday Motivation – Move Your Ass

It’s time to move your ass. July is done, which means we have five months till the end of the year – five more months to achieve what you wanted to at the beginning of the year. No more excuses. No more ‘but I’ve still got months to go’ comments. Nope, time to put your butt into gear and get sh*t done.

(like my pep talk to myself?)

At the beginning of the year, I made a promise to myself that I would eat better, sleep better, work out more and get outside more with Little P. Seems easy enough right? But by May I knew I had fallen way behind in my goals – like WAY behind. And no matter what I did, I couldn’t motivate myself to move my ass. Nothing helped.

And then Little P innocently said that I look like I have a baby in my belly – and that was it.


So my new health journey has begun. It’s the first of August, I have roughly 22 weeks to hit my goal (surpass it actually) and I’m going to be using you lot as my support.

That’s right – you beautiful people are going to help me get to where I want to be, and maybe, just maybe it might help those of you who need a little push to reach that lofty goal by the end of the year.

I promise I won’t bombard your Instagram feeds with pictures of me all sweaty after a workout, or the latest salad I’m partaking in, but there may be more motivational images and quotes – and probably more pictures of Little P telling me to move my butt (she’s a little young to use the word ‘ass’).
